Our client is seeking a Front of House Supervisor for their prestigious hotel located in the Scottish Borders. The role involves overseeing daily front desk operations and leading a guest-focused team to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience. Ideal candidates will have prior hotel experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

With a proud tradition of hospitality that stretches back over a century, the establishment offering 25 hotel bedrooms, a restaurant, bar and bakery to guests and locals, from the moment you open the door, a quirky welcome is sure to spark your imagination.


The Role











First impressions matter! If you’re friendly, have a welcoming smile, and a passion for hospitality, our client would love to hear from you. They are looking for a Front of House Supervisor to support their Reception and Food & Beverage teams. You’ll lead by example, ensuring smooth operations, whether serving in the café, working behind the bar, or handling guest check-ins. You’ll also play a key role in training and developing the team.


With a focus on traditional Scottish hospitality, you'll help guests feel at home from the moment they arrive, offering a warm welcome and sharing information about the hotel and local attractions. This is a great opportunity to work with a motivated team, offering variety and the chance to grow within a large, independent company.






 

What our client needs from you




  • Over 18 and flexible with shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.




  • Experience in a supervisory role is preferred, but this could be a great step up for the right candidate.




  • Comfortable taking the lead and being the most senior FOH team member when required.




  • Barista and bar experience would be a bonus, but full training is provided.
