The Place
Our client owns a beautiful property based in the West of Scotland and they are looking to recruit an Assistant General Manager, a Food & Beverage manager aspiring to go into Hotel Management, to join their small team to support the General Manager in the running of this boutique property.


 


The Job
In this position, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure all areas of the property operate smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about luxury hospitality, committed to supporting a high standard of service and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. From guest satisfaction to team coordination, you’ll be the GM’s right hand, helping to create an environment that delights the guests and fosters an engaged, productive team.  You will have an opportunity to be part of creating a new food and beverage concept and see this through to inception and delivery


 


The Role
• Working alongside the GM to ensure each guest enjoys a seamless, welcoming stay, attending to guest needs and assisting in creating a memorable experience.


• Collaborate with the GM to manage front and back-of-house areas, Food & Beverage, reception, housekeeping and kitchen operations, stepping in as needed to maintain a high standard of service.


• Help recruit, train and oversee a small close knit seasonal team, fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.


• Conduct regular inspections of public areas, guest rooms and kitchen alongside the GM, maintaining top cleanliness standards.


• Assist in managing reservations and maintaining accurate guest records to support efficient front-of-house operations.


• Contribute ideas to support the GM in driving revenue growth, including promotional activities and social media outreach to expand our guest base.


 


The Person


• You will preferably come from a 5-star experience and have excellent knowledge of Food & Beverage.


• Willingness to support and work in all departments and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


• Strong time management and an ability to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly.


• A genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, with excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for delivering exceptional service.
