Our client is seeking a dedicated Public Area Cleaner to join their friendly Housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest cleanliness standards throughout the hotel’s public areas, ensuring a welcoming and spotless environment for all guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will be essential in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Located in the heart of Scotland, our client's hotel is nestled within a breathtaking 900-acre estate in the picturesque Perthshire region. For 150 years, it has been a cherished destination for generations of families. Offering 220 hotel rooms, 55 self-catering lodges, six diverse restaurants, and more than 60 on-site activities, there truly is something to delight every guest.


The role


Our client is looking for a friendly and dedicated team member to take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of public areas throughout the hotel. You will focus on the little details that create a memorable experience and leave a lasting impression on guests during their stay.


Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):



  • Cleaning and maintaining all public areas, including the reception, hallways, restrooms, and lifts, ensuring they remain free from dust, debris, and litter.

  • Replenishing restroom supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, to uphold hygiene standards.

  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure a clean environment.

  • Dusting furniture, fixtures, walls, and other surfaces in public spaces
