The finalists for this year's Scottish Thistle Awards have been announced.

For almost three decades, this prestigious award has celebrated the finest in Scotland's hospitality, tourism, and business sectors. It recognizes outstanding achievements by both individuals and enterprises with the country's highest accolades in these fields. The shortlist, encompassing 14 categories, has been published ahead of the awards ceremony in September. Among these categories are two dedicated to identifying the best pubs and restaurants in Scotland, offering a wide array of worthy nominees.

From the Scottish Isles and the Highlands to the southern regions of Scotland, we have compiled a comprehensive list of nominees for the best bars, pubs, and dining experiences.

The Scottish Thistle Awards also feature regional categories such as best visitor attractions, outstanding cultural events or festivals, tourism individual of the year, and best hotel experiences, among others. Additionally, there are three national categories: best business event, best luxury experience, and outstanding sporting event.
