Scotland’s Hospitality Excellence Celebrated at 2024 AA Awards

The 2024 AA Hospitality Awards, held in London, have recognized the best of Scotland's restaurants and hotels, reaffirming the country's reputation for outstanding hospitality. The prestigious event, hosted by Bafta-nominated broadcaster Angellica Bell, showcased the excellence of some of the UK’s premier establishments.

Loch Bay, located on the stunning Isle of Skye, was awarded Scotland's Restaurant of the Year. Celebrated for its locally sourced seafood, the restaurant’s chef-proprietor, Michael Smith, expressed immense gratitude for his dedicated team and the local fishermen and suppliers who contribute to their culinary success.

The Cromlix Hotel, owned by tennis stars Andy and Kim Murray, took home the title of Hotel of the Year for Scotland. General manager Barry Makin praised his team for their commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, emphasizing that this award reflects their hard work and dedication.

Additionally, the Wine Award for Scotland was bestowed upon The Balmoral in Edinburgh. With a strong focus on its wine offerings, restaurant manager Emma Hemy expressed pride in the collective efforts of the team and their treasured wine suppliers.
