The Place
Our client owns and operates an award-winning hotel, some say it is like a resort, based on the central belt of Scotland. Owing to internal promotions the company is now looking to appoint a new Chef de Partie to join the current set-up and help achieve continued success.
The Job:
As Chef de Partie, you will be mainly responsible for managing a section in the day-to-day running of the main kitchen as and when needed. We are looking to recruit a self-motivated individual to join this dynamic kitchen brigade and bring some of their individual flair to the position. As CDP, you will be working as part of a successful team ensuring that all daily tasks and prep is completed. You will also be supervising junior members at times, assisting and developing the skills of others. Experience working in a similar hotel environment with banqueting/event experience would be desirable.
The Person:
Our client is looking for someone who has a passion for delivering great service. no matter what the numbers are, as well as a good working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and Allergen Legislation understanding. Previous experience in a similar hotel role is essential, together with the ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload. As Chef de Partie, you will be someone who enjoys working and cooking and developing with the team around you as well as being able to achieve great results alongside the Senior Chefs. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure and support the kitchen management by supervising the junior team members. We are keen to speak to career-minded individuals who are looking to build on their skills and develop their careers.
