The Place:
One of Scotland’s largest and most diverse hospitality groups, with a collection of 50+ venues across Scotland including bars, restaurants, hotels and more, is looking for an ambitious General Manager to lead operations in this Hotel, plus more, just off-city centre Edinburgh.
The Job:
As General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete day-to-day running of operations and overseeing the business strategy within this property. We are looking to recruit a passionate individual to join a hard-working team looking to push the service up a level. You will report directly to the Area Hotel Manager, and ensure that daily tasks are completed in a timely fashion, whilst assisting with the development of the core strategy, controlling staffing levels and working within agreed budgets. Consistently delivering and exceeding customer expectations twinned with keeping in close communication with the Company's Senior Management Team, overall F&B team, kitchen brigade and suppliers is paramount to this client's success.
The Person:
You will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure as well as manage all within the business as and when required. We are keen to speak to career-minded individuals who are looking to build on their skills and develop their careers long-term. Someone that also likes to give back to others within the team by providing on-the-job training, and improving the skills of all individuals.
