Our client owns and operates an award-winning hotel, some say it is a resort based on the Western coast of Scotland. Owing to internal management changes the company is now looking to appoint a new Resort General Manager to head up and lead this operation from the front. As ResortGeneral Manager you will be fully responsible for the day-to-day running of this very busy food and beverage-led operation within this exceptional, privately owned hotel group.
The Job
As Resort General Manager you will be fully responsible for all, reporting to a senior company management team, The company currently operates as a very flat and compact reporting structure, so as a Resort General Manager you will easily be able to make those critical business changes without having to wait for internal sign-offs. As Resort General Manager, you will be expected to take a clear leadership and ambassador role in making sure that within your local marketplace, you are engaging with the movers and shakers within your region. The team is currently performing well, however, it is expected that with the appointment of a new General Manager, all areas of staff recruitment, training, and development will be focused on as the property pushes forward with gaining more market share from its regional competitors.
The Person
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced individual who has gained working knowledge and experience within a large country house/resort as perhaps a Hotel Manager or Resort Director of Food and beverage and moving towards that promotion to Resort General Manager capacity, where the focus is on food and beverage running well within the whole environment. Applying candidates could be already working within a multi-F&B management capacity or an experienced General Manager looking for that next step up in their career to a Resort General Manager appointment.
The Rewards
The salary and package on offer fit such a role, offering circa £75k to £ 85k salary, plus a first-class bonus structure + management accommodation + additional company benefits.Package circa £100k
