As their new Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will work with their Marketing and Communications Consultant to create, write, develop, and deliver newsletters and social media campaigns, as well as manage the website and WordPress. You'll work with a diverse market, from old-school communication; email, newsletter, to the newest ways of reaching out; podcasts, TikTok, and blogs.
As part of a small team, you will work to provide guidance and business support to the Self Caterers across Scotland. You'll collaborate with Scottish Government, Local Authorities, and other trade bodies to support members through writing and communicating guidelines and regulations, updating on legislation, and hosting events online and in-person.
This exciting role offers flexible working hours, working from home for 20 hours a week, a working from home allowance of £100, excellent holiday allowance, and pension. You'll be responsible for all external and member communications, writing and delivering guidance, developments and annual updates to members, newsletters to business and trade partners, enhancing their SEO, managing the website, advertising campaigns, liaising with stakeholders, collating PR stories, and arranging and attending events when required.
