We are seeking a passionate Hotel General Manager to take the reins of our 3-star, small rooms focused property. This is your chance to lead a dedicated team and deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving the hotel's success.  Our clients property is based in Perthshire.


 


The Job:


As the Hotel General Manager, you will be the driving force behind all operations of our property. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, creativity, and operational expertise. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, maintaining the property, and maximising profitability. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager to grow within our organisation and eventually manage larger, full-service properties, including 4 and 5-star hotels.



  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

  • Manage, train, and inspire a team of dedicated staff members.

  • Implement and maintain high standards of housekeeping, front desk, and overall property cleanliness.

  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and manage expenses.

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and staff development.


 


The Person:



  • Proven hotel experience within a management role, with a focus on rooms.

  • Previous roles such as Duty Manager, Head Housekeeper, Front of House Manager, or Hotel Operations Manager are highly desirable.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and expense management.

  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and enhancing the guest experience.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
